Texas High School Basketball - Austin ripped by Sterling

The Sterling Raiders basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Austin Mustangs to 20 in the Raiders league triumph on Saturday.
The Raiders now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Milby for a 5A Region III District 19 contest on Monday, January 23. Sterling will meet a Buffs team coming off a 63-32 league loss to Madison (Houston, TX). The Buffs record now stands at 6-13.
The Mustangs (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Galena Park (Galena Park, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the 5A Region III District 19 contest with a 12-16 record. In their last contest, Galena Park triumphed over Sharpstown (Houston, TX), 42-18, in a league contest.
