The Beecher Bobcats basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Reed-Custer Comets to 27 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bobcats now sport a 5-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grace Christian Academy for a River Valley contest on Monday, January 23. Beecher will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 57-19 non-league win over Unity Christian Academy (South Holland, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-10.

The Comets (11-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lisle (Lisle, IL). The Lions enter the Illinois Central 8 contest with a 6-19 record. In their last contest, Lisle was nudged by Amundsen (Chicago, IL), 57-32, in a non-league contest.
