In Saturday's non-league outing, the Memorial Tigers (West New York, NJ) basketball squad felled the visiting Beloved Community Charter Owls (Jersey City, NJ), by a margin of 31-16.
The Tigers (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against Ridgefield Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ). The Scarlets go into the non-league outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Ridgefield Park was beaten by Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ), 44-36, in a non-league outing.
The Owls now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to McNair Academic for a non-league outing on Monday, January 23. Beloved Community Charter will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 46-24 non-league loss to Weehawken (Weehawken, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 3-7.
