With the victory, Boyd-Buchanan upgrades its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Notre Dame (Chattanooga, TN) to play the Fighting Irish in a Division II-A East District 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a record of 4-9.

Next up, the Mountain Lions play the Marion County Warriors (Jasper, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. St. Andrews-Sewanee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
