The Brimley Bays basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Rudyard Bulldogs to 20 in the Bays league victory on Saturday.
The Bays now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedarville for a Eastern Upper Peninsula contest on Tuesday, January 24. Brimley will battle a Trojans team coming off a 56-46 league win over Pickford (Pickford, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 9-2.
The Bulldogs (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Newberry (Newberry, MI). The Indians come into the Eastern Upper Peninsula contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Newberry was routed by Maplewood Baptist Academy (Kinross, MI), 45-27, in a non-league contest.
