New Mexico High School Basketball - Capitan trounces Cloudcroft

The Capitan Tigers (Capitan, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Cloudcroft Bears (Cloudcroft, NM), 60-14 in Saturday's league test.
The Tigers (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Tularosa (Tularosa, NM). The Wildcats go into the 2A District 3 test with a 8-8 record.
The Bears now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Lordsburg for a 2A District 3 test on Thursday, January 26. Cloudcroft will encounter a Mavericks squad coming off a 58-42 league win over Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM). The Mavericks record now stands at 9-6.
