Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves (Eagle Butte, SD), 57-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Little Wound upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Bennett County (Martin, SD) to play the Warriors in a A Region 7 bout on Friday, January 27. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 3-5.

Next up, the Braves play the St. Francis Indian Warriors (St. Francis, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 64-44 league loss to Todd County (Mission, SD).
