Idaho High School Basketball - Council overwhelmed by Garden Valley

The Council Lumberjacks basketball team (Council, ID), was routed 71-35 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Garden Valley Wolverines (Garden Valley, ID)
The Wolverines now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Horseshoe Bend for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 24. Garden Valley will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 39-23 non-league win over Riverstone International (Boise, ID). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.
The Lumberjacks (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Salmon River (Riggins, ID). The Savages come into the 1A Long Pin battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Salmon River trounced Cascade (Cascade, ID), 35-32, in a league battle.
