The Tatum Coyotes routed the visiting Dexter Demons basketball team by a final score of 63-28 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Coyotes face the Hagerman Bobcats (Hagerman, NM) in a 2A District 4 game, on Tuesday, January 24. Tatum will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record. The Bobcats enter the game with a 4-11 record after their 29-27 league loss to Jal (Jal, NM).
With the defeat, Dexter moves to 7-12 on the year. The Demons travel to Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM) to face the Rattlers in a 3A District 4 game on Friday, January 27. The Rattlers enter the game with a record of 11-6.
