The Edgewood Warriors basketball team (Ashtabula, OH), was nudged 59-52 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Perry Pirates (Perry, OH)
The Pirates now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Geneva for a Chagrin Valley - Lake battle on Wednesday, January 25. Perry will battle a Eagles team coming off a 71-39 league win over Lakeside (Ashtabula, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 7-8.
The Warriors (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against West Geauga (Chesterland, OH). The Wolverines come into the non-league battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, West Geauga was nudged by Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH), 35-33, in a league battle.
