The Sutton Mustangs (Sutton, NE) basketball crushed the visiting Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE), 52-27 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (6-9) will now prepare for their test against Milford (Milford, NE). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Milford walloped David City (David City, NE), 56-23, in a non-league test.

The Jeffs now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to York for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Fairbury will encounter a Dukes squad coming off a 42-20 non-league win over Norris (Firth, NE). The Dukes record now stands at 11-1.
