Folsom Bulldogs (Folsom, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA), 55-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Folsom upgrades its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Del Oro (Loomis, CA) to play the Golden Eagles in a Sierra Foothill League bout on Friday, January 27. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a record of 7-14. Del Oro lost 59-55 in their recent non-league bout against Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA)

Next up, the Pride play the Pinole Valley Spartans (Pinole, CA) in a Tri-County - Rock bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Salesian College Preparatory will attempt to upgrade on its 17-4 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 15-6 record after their 70-36 non-league loss to Antelope (Antelope, CA).
