Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL) and the host Wauconda Bulldogs (Wauconda, IL), saw Grayslake North's basketball squad knock off Wauconda by a count of 57-49.

With the victory, Grayslake North upgrades its record to 16-8 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a Northern Lake County challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 10-13. Grant Community lost 50-43 in their recent league challenge against Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 23. Wauconda will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 49-40 league win over Maine West (Des Plaines, IL).
