In Saturday's league match, the visiting Jackson Jaguars basketball team scored a decisive 70-34 triumph over the Mays Raiders.
In their next game, the Jaguars face the Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 match, on Tuesday, January 24. Jackson will attempt to move on its 15-1 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 10-9 record after their 61-58 league win over Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA).
