Oregon High School Basketball - Kennedy tipped by Mapleton

The Mapleton Sailors basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Kennedy Trojans to 31 in the Sailors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Sailors now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host McKenzie for a 1A Mountain West contest on Tuesday, January 24. Mapleton will meet a Eagles team coming off a 50-24 league loss to Crow (Eugene, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 1-10.
The Trojans (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Western Christian (Salem, OR). The Pioneers enter the 2A Tri-River contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Western Christian was nudged by Regis (Stayton, OR), 36-35, in a league contest.
