The Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME) basketball nipped the visiting Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME), 51-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME). The Howlers go into the non-league test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Penobscot Valley got by Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME), 55-11, in a non-league test.
The Pandas now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Shead for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Lee Academy will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 57-31 league loss to Machias (Machias, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 0-11.
