Polson Pirates (Polson, MT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Libby Loggers (Libby, MT), 39-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Polson upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Pirates travel to St. Ignatius (St. Ignatius, MT) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-3. St. Ignatius lost 68-31 in their recent league bout against Bigfork (Bigfork, MT)

Next up, the Loggers play the Browning Indians (Browning, MT) in a A Northwest bout, on Saturday, February 4. Libby will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
