Colorado High School Basketball - Palmer Ridge nips Lutheran

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO) and the visiting Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO), saw Palmer Ridge's basketball squad hold off Lutheran by a tally of 55-54.

With the victory, Palmer Ridge improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO) to play the Kadets in a 5A/4A Pikes Peak challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Kadets come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Air Academy won 65-55 in their recent league challenge against Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO)

Next up, the Lions play the Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO) in a 5A/4A Pikes Peak challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 44-36 league loss to Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO).
