The Orrville Red Riders (Orrville, OH) basketball felled the visiting Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH), 38-28 in Saturday's league test.
The Red Riders (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Smithville (Smithville, OH). The Smithies go into the non-league test with a 15-1 record. In their last test, Smithville went down by Waynedale (Apple Creek, OH), 42-37, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Coventry for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 25. Manchester will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 56-19 league loss to Norton (Norton, OH). The Comets record now stands at 2-14.
