The Munford Cougars (Munford, TN) basketball crushed the visiting Millington Central Trojans (Millington, TN), 60-23 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars (4-8) will now prepare for their test against St. Benedict at Auburndale (Cordova, TN). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, St. Benedict at Auburndale walloped St. Agnes Academy (Memphis, TN), 56-43, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 8-14 record. They play next when they travel to Raleigh-Egypt for a 3A District 15 test on Tuesday, January 24. Millington Central will encounter a Pharaohs squad coming off a 52-23 league loss to Fayette Ware (Somerville, TN). The Pharaohs record now stands at 4-6.
