The North Lake Cowboys (Silver Lake, OR) basketball nipped the visiting Trinity Lutheran Saints (Bend, OR), 40-34 in Saturday's league test.
The Cowboys (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Central Christian (Redmond, OR). The Tigers go into the 1A Mountain Valley test with a 0-0 record.
The Saints now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Lost River for a 1A Mountain Valley test on Tuesday, January 24. Trinity Lutheran will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 33-25 league win over Hosanna Christian/Triad (Klamath Falls, OR). The Raiders record now stands at 4-9.
