In Saturday's non-league match, the host Northview Wildcats basketball team scored a tight 27-25 triumph over the Whitmer Panthers.
In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Anthony Wayne Generals (Whitehouse, OH) in a Northern Lakes match, on Tuesday, January 24. Northview will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Generals enter the match with a 14-3 record after their 54-12 league win over Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH).
With the defeat, Whitmer moves to 7-8 on the year. The Panthers travel to St. Ursula Academy (Toledo, OH) to meet the Arrows in a non-league match on Monday, January 23.
