North Carolina High School Basketball - Wallace-Rose Hill edges Pender

The Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC), 41-34 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (1-10) will now prepare for their test against South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC). The Blue Devils go into the 2A Conference 6 test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, South Lenoir got by Kinston (Kinston, NC), 40-38, in a league test.
The Patriots now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Heide Trask for a 1A/2A Conference 5 test on Tuesday, January 24. Pender will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 54-11 league loss to Whiteville (Whiteville, NC). The Titans record now stands at 2-14.
