In Saturday's league outing, the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Presentation Panthers (San Jose, CA), by a count of 56-30.

The Fightin' Irish (15-2) will now prepare for their outing against St. Ignatius (San Francisco, CA). The Wildcats go into the West Catholic outing with a 9-8 record. In their last outing, St. Ignatius smashed Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA), 54-42, in a league outing.

The Panthers now hold a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Archbishop Mitty for a West Catholic outing on Wednesday, January 25. Presentation will clash with a Monarchs squad coming off a 85-36 league win over Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 16-2.
