Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR), 65-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Quitman upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host White County Central (Judsonia, AR) to clash with the Bears in a 2A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 6-6.

Next up, the Greyhounds clash with the Izard County Cougars (Brockwell, AR) in a 2A Region 2 bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Sloan-Hendrix will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record.
