The Rochester Rockets basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Springfield Senators to 32 in the Rockets league triumph on Saturday.
The Rockets now sport a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenwood for a Central State Eight contest on Tuesday, January 24. Rochester will battle a Titans team coming off a 43-35 non-league loss to Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL). The Titans record now stands at 9-13.
The Senators (12-11) will now prepare for their contest against Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL). The Cyclones enter the Central State Eight contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, Sacred Heart-Griffin ran past Glenwood (Chatham, IL), 34-27, in a league contest.
