The West Lyon Wildcats basketball team (Inwood, IA), was toppled 65-49 in Saturday's league battle with the host Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals (Sibley, IA)

The Generals now possess a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Okoboji for a Siouxland battle on Tuesday, January 24. Sibley-Ocheyedan will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 69-39 league loss to Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-10.

The Wildcats (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Dutchmen come into the Siouxland battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, MOC-Floyd Valley was toppled by Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA), 68-49, in a league battle.
