Sunnyside Grizzlies (Sunnyside, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Valley Rams (Yakima, WA), 57-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Sunnyside upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Moses Lake (Moses Lake, WA) to play the Mavericks in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 bout on Friday, January 27. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Moses Lake won 67-27 in their recent league bout against Wenatchee (Wenatchee, WA)

Next up, the Rams play the Eisenhower Cadets (Yakima, WA) in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 bout, on Friday, January 27. West Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Cadets go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 52-51 league loss to Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA).
