Virginia High School Basketball - Mt. Carmel Christian Academy edges Regents

The Mt. Carmel Christian Academy Warriors (Luray, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Regents Lions (Charlottesville, VA), 22-18 in Saturday's league test.
The Warriors (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Appalachian Christian (Afton, VA). The Trailblazers go into the test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Appalachian Christian was tipped by Blue Ridge Christian (Bridgewater, VA), 29-17, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Grace Christian for a test on Tuesday, January 24. Regents will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 26-25 league loss to Blue Ridge Christian (Bridgewater, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-6.
