Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM), 32-27 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hope Christian upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Huskies host Valley (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Valley lost 77-44 in their recent non-league bout against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM)

Next up, the Chargers play the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Albuquerque Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 45-39 non-league win over Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM).
