Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Anne Cardinals (St. Anne, IL) and the host Clifton Central Comets (Clifton, IL), saw St. Anne's basketball squad hold off Clifton Central by a tally of 51-47.
With the victory, St. Anne improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign.
