The JV Opponent (, ) basketball nipped the visiting Cumberland Christian Home Educators Hawks (Somerset, KY), 53-51 in Saturday's non-league test.

The (125-306) will now prepare for their test against Luther (Maspeth, NY). The Cougars go into the test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Luther was tipped by Portledge (Locust Valley, NY), 62-60, in a league test.
