Westminster Christian Warriors (Elgin, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Indian Creek Timberwolves (Shabbona, IL), 42-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Westminster Christian upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Warriors host Schaumburg Christian (Schaumburg, IL) to play the Conquerors in a bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Conquerors go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Timberwolves play the Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Indian Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Cogs go into the bout with a 13-8 record after their 58-26 non-league win over Somonauk (Somonauk, IL).
