Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Weston Ranch Cougars (Stockton, CA), 61-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sheldon upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA) to play the Eagles in a bout on Monday, January 23. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 5-11. Pleasant Grove won 46-43 in their recent league bout against Franklin (Elk Grove, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Linden Lions (Linden, CA) in a bout, on Monday, January 23. Weston Ranch will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record.
