The Bishop Ireton Cardinals basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Archbishop Carroll Lions to 60 in the Cardinals league triumph on Sunday.
The Cardinals now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop McNamara for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Bishop Ireton will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 68-49 non-league win over Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
