The East College Prep Spartans basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Academia Avance Guerreros Jaguares to 58 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Collins Family for a Eastside game on Friday, January 24. East College Prep will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 78-36 league win over ESAT (Los Angeles, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Academia Avance falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Guerreros jaguares travel to Alliance Bloomfield (Huntington Park, CA) to confront the Bulls in a Eastside game on Thursday, January 23. The Bulls go into the game with a record of 2-9. Alliance Bloomfield won 50-21 in their recent league game against CALS Early College (Los Angeles, CA)
