North Dakota High School Basketball - Ada-Borup succumbs to Thompson

January 21, 2025: Thompson, ND 58278

In Tuesday's non-league test, the Thompson Tommies (Thompson, ND) basketball squad defeated the visiting Ada-Borup Cougars (Ada, MN), by a final score of 60-51.

Next, the Tommies clash with the Devils Lake Firebirds (Devils Lake, ND) in a A Region 2 test, on Friday, January 24. Thompson will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Firebirds come into the test with a 12-0 record after their 70-47 league win over Grafton (Grafton, ND).

The Cougars (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Mahnomen/Waubun (Mahnomen, MN). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Mahnomen/Waubun overcame Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal (Twin Valley, MN), 61-59, in a non-league test.
