With the victory, Antelope advances its record to 9-6 on the year. The Rams host St. John Paul II Catholic (Avondale, AZ) to meet the Lions in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 4-14.

The Pumas now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host North Phoenix Preparatory Academy for a 1A West bout on Thursday, January 23. Sequoia Pathway Academy will play a Gladiators team coming off a 59-37 league loss to Desert Heights Prep (Glendale, AZ). The Gladiators record now stands at 3-10.
