Aquinas Academy Crusaders (Bear, DE) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Calvary Christian Academy LIONS (Dover, DE), 51-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Aquinas Academy advances its record to 6-3 on the year. The Crusaders host Avon Grove Charter (West Grove, PA) to face the Wolves in a Mid-Atlantic Independent match on Tuesday, January 28. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 3-9.
The LIONS now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenwood Mennonite for a non-league match on Thursday, January 23. Calvary Christian Academy will face a Flames squad coming off a 43-19 league win over Holly Grove Christian (Westover, MD). The Flames record now stands at 12-0.
