The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Mahaska Warhawks (New Sharon, IA) and the visiting B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA), observed North Mahaska's basketball team overcome B-G-M by a margin of 67-56.

The Warhawks (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Montezuma (Montezuma, IA). The Braves come into the South Iowa Cedar challenge with a 14-1 record. In their last challenge, Montezuma defeated Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA), 62-55, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar challenge, on Friday, January 24. B-G-M will attempt to better on its 3-15 season record.
