The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Borden County Coyotes (Gail, TX) and the visiting Dawson Dragons (Welch, TX), observed Borden County's basketball team overwhelm Dawson by a score of 64-12.

The Coyotes (11-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Sands (Ackerly, TX). The Mustangs come into the 1A Region I District 6 challenge with a 15-5 record. In their last challenge, Sands was routed by Klondike (Lamesa, TX), 41-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons encounter the Grady Wildcats (Lenorah, TX) in a 1A Region I District 6 challenge, on Friday, January 24. Dawson will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 55-50 league loss to Loop (Loop, TX).
