Maryland High School Basketball - Century holds off South Carroll

The Century Knights basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host South Carroll Cavaliers to 46 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now have a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Winters Mill for a Carroll County game on Tuesday, January 28. Century will confront a Falcons team coming off a 45-42 league win over Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 4-9.
With the loss, South Carroll falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Westminster (Westminster, MD) to confront the Owls in a Carroll County game on Friday, January 24. The Owls go into the game with a record of 6-7. Westminster won 63-56 in their recent league game against Liberty (Sykesville, MD)
