In Tuesday's league test, the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) basketball squad defeated the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), by a final score of 50-38.

Next, the Flying Flucos clash with the Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) in a Jefferson test, on Friday, January 24. Fluvanna County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 1-14 record after their 84-28 league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA).

The Black Knights (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets come into the Jefferson test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Orange County went down by Monticello (Charlottesville, VA), 56-55, in a league test.
