The Indians now possess a 11-11 record. They play next when they host Waterloo for a 1A Area 15 game on Friday, January 24. Cherokee will confront a Cougars team coming off a 78-28 non-league loss to Central (Florence, AL). The Cougars record now stands at 8-13.

With the loss, Shoals Christian falls to 0-18 on the campaign. The Flame host Athens Bible (Athens, AL) to confront the Trojans in a 1A Area 15 game on Friday, January 24. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 9-9. Athens Bible lost 70-67 in their recent non-league game against Woodville (Woodville, AL)
