The Father Ryan Irish basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions to 39 in the Irish league triumph on Tuesday.

The Irish now have a 14-6 record. They play next when they host Montgomery Bell Academy for a Division II-AA Middle game on Friday, January 24. Father Ryan will confront a Big Red team coming off a 69-61 league win over Pope John Paul II (Hendersonville, TN). The Big Red record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, Christ Presbyterian Academy falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Lions host Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN) to confront the Mustangs in a Division II-AA Middle game on Friday, January 24. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 13-6. Lipscomb Academy lost 61-47 in their recent league game against Father Ryan (Nashville, TN)
