In Tuesday's league contest, the host Covenant Classical Cavaliers basketball team scored a good 57-43 triumph over the Christian Life Preparatory Knights.
The Cavaliers (14-9) will now prepare for their contest against Abilene Christian (Abilene, TX). The Panthers go into the TAPPS 3A District 1 contest with a 20-7 record. In their last contest, Abilene Christian was topped by Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX), 67-61, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Calvary Academy Lions (Denton, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 1 contest, on Friday, January 24. Christian Life Preparatory will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 6-12 record after their 50-45 league loss to Covenant Classical (Fort Worth, TX).
