With the victory, Service advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to Hoover (Hoover, AL) to face the Buccaneers in a non-league match on Thursday, January 23. The Buccaneers enter the match with a record of 24-0. Hoover won 75-43 in their recent league match against Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL)

The Mustangs now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Anchorage for a 4A Cook Inlet match on Friday, January 24. Chugiak will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 66-56 non-league loss to Nome-Beltz (Nome, AK). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-7.
