In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Classical Purple basketball team scored a big 66-42 triumph over the Mt. Pleasant Kilties.
The Purple (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI). The Hawks go into the Division I contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Bishop Hendricken smashed North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI), 68-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Kilties battle the La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI) in a Division I contest, on Thursday, January 23. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 13-2 record after their 71-39 league win over Smithfield (Esmond, RI).
