The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Valley Christian Academy Lions (Santa Maria, CA) and the visiting Coast Union Broncos (Cambria, CA), observed Valley Christian Academy's basketball team overwhelm Coast Union by a margin of 67-22.

The Lions (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Shandon (Shandon, CA). The Outlaws come into the Coast Valley challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Shandon was trounced by Maricopa (Maricopa, CA), 58-19, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Broncos battle the San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Grizzlies (San Luis Obispo, CA) in a Coast Valley challenge, on Friday, January 24. Coast Union will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 66-41 league loss to Coastal Christian (Pismo Beach, CA).
