In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Union County Braves basketball team scored a big 79-24 triumph over the Crittenden County Rockets.
The Braves (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Henderson County (Henderson, KY). The Colonels go into the District 6 contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Henderson County smashed Webster County (Dixon, KY), 68-19, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rockets battle the Hopkinsville Tigers (Hopkinsville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 25. Crittenden County will attempt to better on its 0-14 season record.
